At Lake State Mountaineering, we have numerous connections that we can connect you with to help you explore any outdoor activity! With our combined 40 years in the outdoor community, we can introduce you to the right people, organizations, or meet-ups to help you get started. Send us a note or check out the Community Hub (coming soon) for information on all the local groups that frequent our shop and provide great opportunities to get outside!

We offer a rental program and have various partnerships with non-profits to assist those looking to get gear and/or equipment to remove that barrier from your true goal of outdoor achievement.

We don’t give away gear, but we do partner with groups that provide gear and opportunities for folks struggling with those needs to get outside and enjoy new activities.
